Regional anesthesia procedure
- Ultrasound-assisted blockades of the axillary plexus as well as interscalenary blockades for shoulder operations and interventions in elbow and hand surgery.
- Ultrasound-assisted blockages of the saphenus nerve, IPACK blockages and blockages of the sciatic nerve in knee surgery and foot surgery.
- For certain indications, spinal anesthetics with short-acting local anesthetics are also available.
In appropriate cases, especially in the case of unpleasant or painful diagnostic interventions, only superficial analgosedations can also be performed. In addition, we offer additional anaesthesiological care (formerly referred to as "stand-by", today preferably as "Monitored Anaesthesia Care", MAC) in addition to the local anaesthesia you perform.
For each patient, we discuss with you which anesthesia procedure is suitable for the procedure. In addition to procedural and infrastructural factors, the consideration of possible patient wishes is also a major concern for us. Our anesthesia teams always consist of an experienced anesthesiologist as well as an equally experienced anesthesia care or intensive care specialist. It is a constant concern of ours to adapt our procedures in detail to the outpatient setting. We attach great importance to peri- and postoperative pain therapy as well as to the best possible antiemetic prophylaxis.
